Wanting to become a member? First, we need to put you through our CrossFit intro session. All fitness levels are catered for. You will be supported by our coaches and community. You will complete 1 session where we take you through the basic movements of CrossFit to make sure you will know what to expect once in class. These sessions are only $30 each

Now you are ready to join our main classes. We limit all our classes to 14 people to ensure you get quality coaching and the best experience possible.

T h e T r a i n i n g M e t h o d s
CrossFit is a strength, conditioning, and overall fitness program consisting mainly of a mix of aerobic exercise, calisthenics (body weight exercises), and Olympic weightlifting.
CrossFit, Inc. describes its strength and conditioning program as "constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity across broad time and modal domains,"
Purely designed to test the members endurance when it comes to longer workouts. We will leave the barbells in the rack for this class, as we focus on cardiovascular endurance, stamina, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. Combo this class with the Olympic Weightlifting class and you will find the perfect combo of strength and endurance.
Circuit training is a form of body conditioning that involves endurance training, resistance training and high-intensity aerobics. Similar to High-intensity interval training, it targets building strength and muscular endurance. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise.
People lift weights for a variety of different reasons. One of the main reasons is to improve their overall health. When compared to machines, free weights improve not only strength but muscle function as well.
With us now being added as an affiliate into Olympic Weightlifting New Zealand you can be sure a focus will be on technique and skill as we look to encourage the sport of weightlifting for all of our members to prevent injury and the focused crossover into CrossFit.
Legend meaning an "extremely famous or notorious person, especially in a particular field". This class is exactly that. With the older generation in mind, CFWA looks to focus on cardiovascular endurance, stamina, flexibility, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy in a low impact environment. Similar to our Circuit class where we focus on H.I.I.T but with a safe and age conscious consideration.
Designed for Mums wanting to get back into fitness with like minded people. Classes will consist of Tabata, H.I.I.T, Circuit and Boxfit. All fitness and ability levels welcome as we work to maintain functional movements for a more active lifestyle.
We do 1 - on - 1 as well. Stuck on a certain Gymnastics movement, an Olympic Lift or needing that extra push when it comes to Cardio? We are here to help with our specialised 1 - on - 1 personal training sessions.

With the scheduled Open Gym be sure to work on those extra's while the gym is empty. We do allow members to work though those extras during, before and after classes but with the group class taking priority for space and equipment. The gym is normally open from 5am until 7:30pm so plenty of time between classes if a coach is still around to have the roller door open.
